The sun rises in the morning. Murky palettes of October colours—all the oranges and reds and pinks above emerald tree lines and deep blue waters. More colours than you could ever hope to want.
The water runs with a little twist of fingers, boiling quickly on the new stove. Beans, and every other part, coming together around the world to bring you the sweet elixir to pull the sleep out of your eyes.
Warm morning clothes. Warm morning chats with roommates or partners or kids or parents.
A bed to go back to. In a space that is just your own. Perhaps a book or a journal or a meditation—a time for introspection.
Thoughts of jogging, showering, grocery shopping, meal preparing, all swirling around in that head of yours. No need to fear scarcity, for here, we live in abundance. In being able to read this, in being able to write this. We are so privileged. We are so fortunate. We have so much to recognize and be thankful for.
There is lots to do today, but only because we do not suffer quite as much as those under our feet, who have prepared it all for us, and who are at it again today. All for us to stand here. We are thankful for them. We are thankful for you. We are thankful for these beauty days, and we recognize that we are the privileged ones, to get to be thankful for all of it. What are you thankful for?
